Books

I always struggled with technical concepts. I would read something, think I understood it, and then forget it two weeks later. I had to relearn the same topics multiple times before they stuck. What finally worked was learning from first principles, starting with the problem, understanding why something exists, and building up from there with real examples. That approach made things click in a way that memorizing definitions never did. These books are written the way I wish someone had explained these topics to me the first time. They also work well for interview prep and scenario-based thinking.

I read a lot. Books on stoicism, psychology, sports, leadership, meaning. I have watched countless hours of Lex Fridman, Naval Ravikant, Tony Robbins, Tim Ferriss, and Andrew Huberman. I practice Silva meditation, Wim Hof breathing, box breathing, and 4-7-8 breathing to ground myself. I keep going back to Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, and Viktor Frankl. Most of these teachings say the same thing in different ways. These books are my way of telling that same story, through cricket, through a school, through the lens of someone who has spent years absorbing all of it and wants to share it in a way that is simple and easy to carry.
